1、传动滚筒从制作材料上来分有钢板卷制焊接、铸钢及铸铁3种。从结构型式上来分有装配辐板式、辐条式、整体辐板式3种。

2、改向滚筒按承载能力也分轻型、中型和重型，结构型式与传动滚筒一致，覆面有裸露光钢面和平滑胶面两种。
